Please note as a result of new customs regulations for shipping to the EU, couriers have significantly increased their shipping charges and deliveries are also take longer than usual. This is outside of our control. Thank you for your patience.
Our delivery charges are based on weight and destination. We do our best to keep our costs as low as possible, however some of our items are heavy which can make them expensive to ship.
We aim to process your order within 2 working days.
Once dispatched delivery time will depend on destination and shipping method.
UK orders
These will usually be sent by Royal Mail and delivery normally takes 2 working days. Larger orders will be shipped by Parcel Force or by courier and may take a day or two longer.
International orders
International shipping will take longer than UK shipping.
Orders to international destinations will either be sent by Royal Mail and local postal services or shipped by courier, dependent on weight.
Delivery time varies with destination. Parcels can be held for 10 or more business days by local customs authorities once the order reaches the destination country. Because of this delivery can take as long 4 to 6 weeks for some countries, including some EU destinations. This is outside of our control. Downloadable items including eBooks are not affected in this way. Please consider this when ordering.
VAT and CUSTOMS CHARGES
Countries outside the UK often have additional customs clearance charges. Our prices are exclusive of local taxes and customs charges. Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you (the recipient). We regret that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. For further details please contact your local customs authority. Systematic Innovation cannot be accountable for any delays incurred whilst in transit with a postal service or courier.
Please Note:
- Unfortunately, along with many other companies in the UK, since the change in customs procedures after Brexit we have not been able to find a way to reliably send physical items to anywhere in the EU. This regrettably means that we can only supply electronic versions of our books to customers in some locations.
- We are not able to provide tracking information to all destinations as this is often not provided by the local postal service.
- To keep shipping costs as low as possible smaller value orders (e.g. single items) are not usually sent using a tracked service.
- Please notify us of any problems with order within 2 working days of delivery.
- If an item is sent to an address that you specified when ordering which turns out to be incorrect, we are not liable if this item does not reach you.
- Deliveries are likely to take longer to arrive during December/early January because of the Christmas holiday period.
- From time to time our small team takes a holiday. Shipping may be delayed during these periods. You will be notified if your order is affected.
